Question 39

Q. For existing facilities that are built and have been operating for some time (>20 years), are all sections of the Submission Form mandatory? For example, are the following sections/reports required for an operating hydro facility? - Section 3.3: Site Compliance - Section 3.4.6: Recognition of the project by local authorities - Section 3.4.7: Project Insertion Plan - Section 3.6.2: Environmental impact assessments - Section 3.6.3: Federal environmental assessment procedure - Section 3.6.4: Environmental approval plans - Section 3.10.5: Estimated cost of substation - Section 3.10.8: Letter demonstrating compliance with standards and technical requirements for connection to the Grid. Any guidance on the submission form for existing hydro facilities would be greatly appreciated.
