Q. In reference to Tender Document - Electricity Produced from Renewable Sources - Section 1.7.2 Procedure for PSS/E models Validation document.
For an existing private interconnected facility within the Hydro Quebec system, are the simulation requirements of Section 3 “Simulations” of “Hydro-Québec - Groupe TransÉnergie et équipement - Procedure for PSS/E models validation” required to be re-produced from the original interconnection study if the existing facility undergoes a configuration where the total net generation of the facility decreases? Would it be acceptable to utilize the previous model results?

A. The bidder must submit models representing the most realistic behaviour of its production technology at this stage. If the bidder judges that the results of the validation procedure for the PSS/E models with its previous modelling are similar to the real behaviour of the proposed generation technologies, it can submit these previous results. Note that the results must, however, be produced or compatible in the PSS/E software package from Siemens PTI version 34.8.
R. Le soumissionnaire doit soumettre les modèles représentant le comportement le plus réaliste de sa technologie de production à ce stade. Si le soumissionnaire juge que les résultats de la procédure de validation pour les modèles PSS/E avec sa modélisation précédente sont semblables au comportement réel des technologies de production proposées, il peut soumettre ces résultats antérieurs. À noter que les résultats doivent toutefois être produits ou compatibles dans le progiciel PSS/E de la firme Siemens PTI version 34.8.
